Problem
The use of robots in society today has caused the loss of jobs and shifting of jobs worldwide. Technology is steadily improving and causing more and more work industries to use them to their benefit. Having robots take over jobs in the workplace is hurting an uneducated labor force's ability to secure a career that was traditionally available. The advent of technology has shifted and increased the importance of education on labor force and squeeze the sector of workers that is unskilled. Society should incentivize technology based career paths through low-cost education such as through two-year trade or technology based degrees to cope with the changing job market place. Without programs in place society runs the risk of a widening gap in wages between the educated and unskilled work forces. I feel companies have and ethical responsibility to support their workers due to the fact that workers are humans and need money to live their day to day lives. Robots at the end of the day is just advanced technology and are only responsible for doing their specific job.
