For this course, you will select a company and analyze its research needs throughout the session for the research proposal that you will be completing toward the end of this course.
Choose a company that has the following three characteristics:
- Small to large organization
- Must have seen dramatic business changes in the past decade, such as acquisitions or downsizing
- Must include product brands that need a face-lift or new ways to reach new customers
Research and become familiar with your selected company/client. Based on the company you have selected for your research proposal, discuss with your colleagues the following:
- What is one main consideration your client needs to be aware of in this industry?
- What is the current situation of the company’s industry?
- Name 3 secondary data resources available to you that you can use to start your research proposal.
