What is meant by the term "modernism?" What do you think about the "modernist experiment?" Choose three aspects of life covered in the various sections of this chapter (some of those may be technical or technological but some should include the ideas and values of modernity) and give your own views whether modernism brought gains or losses, or a bit of both, in those areas.
