What is marketing mix?
In today's more competitive and complex business environment, marketing mix is important for all the business organizations in order to gain successful position in the local as well as international market. For instance, marketing mix helps the business firms in attracting and motivating the customers. The marketing mix is a combination of various ideas and plans that are pursued by the marketing representative in order to promote a particular product or brand in the international market (Backman & Butler, 2003). In addition to this, marketing mix also affects the demand of a particular product or service in an effective and proper manner. For example, promotion is one of the imperative elements of the marketing mix that create a unique position of a brand or product in the mind of consumers.
