Instructions:
I don't want to see a word or two or a few sentences. I really want to see you engage yourself in these questions and to really ponder and think about them. This is a philosophy class. Its all about the dialogue and the discussion. There are not right or wrong answers, just possibilities. A good philosophy conversation will go on forever.
1. How do you personally understand Socrates' quote: "The Unexamined life is not worth living"? Do not google it but rather think about it and really try to break it down.
2. What is happiness and the good life? How do we understand these two concepts? What about you personally?
3. How can the discipline of philosophy help us better understand what happiness is in general and our own understanding of happiness?
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
