Select two competing companies to compare their customer service. These companies should be ones that you can visit and have a presence online (website, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) A few examples might be Sears and JCPenney or PetCo and Pet Smart. Tour their establishments, visit their websites, and compare the two companies. Refer to the list of items to compare in the Customer Service Comparison Project Document.

You should be gathering data all throughout the course and will share a comparison presentation in Seminar Five. Your presentation should address the following items:

• What is good at each location
• What needs to be improved at each location
• Why it needs to be improved
• How changes will be measured
