Problem: What is Design Thinking? Design thinking is an iterative process in which you seek to understand your users, challenge assumptions, redefine problems and create innovative solutions which you can prototype and test.
Drawing from the fields of career education, psychology, and design thinking, life design skills can be applied again and again as individuals navigate change and transition throughout life.
Please watch this video (Burnett, Bill. "Designing Your Life ". YouTube, 4 Feb. 2015)
Bill describes life design as a tool in the toolbelt to address classical "wicked problems" like deciding what you want to do when you grow up.
A discussion post that reflects on these questions:
1. Do you relate to that wicked problem?
2. Can you think of other wicked problems?
3. He also talks about finding your passion as a negative thing. Do you agree/disagree with his take on passion?
4. Bill also introduces the idea of prototypes. Have you already been prototyping your future? If so, in what ways?
