Part 1: Please list 8 scenarios which can observe behaviors in childcare center.
Each scenario includes:
1. What is an antecedent?
Indicate what happened immediately before the challenging behavior occurs that contributes to the child's actions. What was the "trigger" for the behavior to occur?
2. Behavior observed
3. Activity
4. Why is the behaviour inappropriate?
5. What was the child's intent?
Part 2: Choose one behavior, and report how the staff managed the behavior.
The summary should include:
1. Disrupting Group Time Observation notes
2. Identifying the Behaviour
3. Explain how the teacher dealt with the behavior, guidance strategies, tone, energy, etc.
4. Describe how the child felt because of the teacher's actions
5. How to evaluate the process? Alternate Strategy?
