Problem
A psychologist examines whether children can follow someone else's gaze (co-orienting with others) by conducting cognitive tasks. For each child, she records whether the child followed a gaze or not. Assume each trial is independent. The expectation is that 8 out of 10 children will follow the gaze.
1. What is the probability of observing that 3 or less children followed a gaze in a group of 15 children? Demonstrate your work by typing it or attaching an image of hand-written work.
2. What is a reasonable conclusion she could draw about the chances of observing that only 3 children out of 15 followed a gaze under the null expectation?
