Problem:
What is a casual yet professional way to give reflection very very briefly to my supervisor (who is also the director) how I as a Senior Chaplain did complete the goal that I set out for myself to do during the 4th quarter which was to - I happily met with 4 organizations and scheduled to be a part of 2 meetings to promote community collaboration. On 5/16, I was asked to join a panel of behavioral health practitioners at Metro Community College (Fort Omaha Campus) as part of the Charles Drew Health Center Learning Series; Topic: Building Stronger Bonds: Promoting Family Mental Health Understanding and Resilience. I spoke on family resilience and mental health as a panelist. Panelists discussed ways to improve communication, understand family dynamics, and spot mental health issues. Families were encouraged to support each other and navigate mental health issues to become healthier and more resilient. I met with Ms. Holly Kaffenberger of the Omaha Volunteer Consortium on Thursday, 5/23, at "Network and Nosh" (a meeting place for volunteer organizations to ask questions, share volunteer training opportunities, etc.).
