Homework: The Old Testament Story
This homework will require students to summarize and analyze information presented in a journal article.
Step A: Read the article, "The Reliability of Bible Manuscripts" by clicking the link above.
Step B: Write a general overview of the article summarizing the major points or positions presented. You should address at a minimum the following questions:
1) What is the issue or controversy discussed?
2) What is the author's main point or argument?
3) Where does the author get her/his evidence?
4) What important terms or concepts does the author define?
Step C: This is the most important part of your paper. You are to analyze the information presented in the article by addressing the following points:
1) What information/interesting facts did you get from the article?
2) Do you agree or disagree with the conclusions of the author? Why or why not?
3) What questions do you have about the issues raised in the article?
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
(1) The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
(2) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
(3) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
