Problem
Identify what they believe are the most salient messages and arguments presented by the authors of the readings/videos, and develop a cogent thesis and argument. Strong will compare, contrast, and analyze multiple readings/videos and concepts.
1) What information/data was most compelling to you? Why?
2) How are neoliberalism and economic globalization discussed or implicated in the readings/videos?
3) What evidence do the authors present that critique or challenge dominant narratives?
4) How could additional socio-cultural anthropological research advance our knowledge of the subject matter?
5) Students should also reflect on their own experience with the topic: observations from your own life align with the findings from the readings?
