You have conducted a simple survey that has asked 100 people who have either attended an event (n=25) you promoted in the past and those who have not (n=25) and those who have contributed to the event in the past (n=25) and what they think about the event. You have asked a number of Likert-type questions that you have shown to be a measure of event liking (scores range from 1 to 7) and event support.
1. What inferential statistical tests are appropriate to answer your research question as to whether past participation and contribution will make a difference in people enjoying, and supporting an event?
2. Would t-tests or chi-square tests for differences be appropriate? Why or why not?
