Problem
Consider the audience, genre, and topic you select and respond to the following:
a) What is the topic? Why is it important to someone?
b) What inferences can be made about the audience? Who may read your piece of writing?
c) What would you like the audience to do, know, or think after reading the writing?
d) As the author, what can be controlled about the piece of writing? How do the choices (e.g., word choice, grammar, etc.) impact the readers' experiences.
