Problem 1: What if your organization is a family business? How would you control your family members if you had authority & power over them? (Keep in mind you need them & care about their well-being!)
Problem 2: When would you, as a manager or owner, rely on trust to empower employees? How can you be sure employees can practice self-control?
Problem 3: Describe 3 or 4 minor personal rules that you would communicate to employees? That is, are there ways that YOU like things done that employees would be oblivious about unless you told them and explained yourself (i.e., clan control)?
Problem 4: Describe 3 or 4 fun or creative ideas you could implement to control & improve employee outcomes (satisfaction, motivation & performance).
