Problem: Speaking of not sleeping, sometimes I feel like Tyler Durden from Fight Club. I love that movie (you are now Jack's total lack of surprise), and think that I could learn something from its overwhelmingly positive message. Ed Norton was lost until he found Tyler, and Tyler took him on a journey of unflappable self-discovery. All of his cognitive change seemed to result from getting up off of his ass, stopping his whining and mail ordering furniture late at night, and starting to fight as a way to fill his time. After he got into it, he began to hold meetings at specified times to promote involvement in this activity. The rules notwithstanding, these meetings got bigger and bigger and began to be held at regular intervals (e.g., Saturday afternoons at 2:00 in the gym on campus). Maybe I need to get me some of that. If I did, what would I be doing?
