Question: I have occasionally experienced and spotted ethical dilemmas. One of the most recent occurrences I observed was a group of students bullying others. When faced with a challenge to resolve ethical issues, our team members make sure to inform a person in authority right away. It would be best to forward the situation to a Human Resources Professional. At our workplace, the Director of Instructions is the equivalent of a Human Resources Professional and the one responsible for solving issues that do not align with ethics. Therefore, I forwarded this rising situation as I believe it is best to turn to our supervisors when in doubt, rather than taking an uncertain approach that might potentially cause more damage.
