On a separate piece of paper, write a journal entry about the possible social or moral consequences of a "do-nothing, see-nothing" attitude. You may want ot consider consequences in one or more of the following areas of public life:
• safety in public places (no response to attacks or purse stealings)
• common courtesy (unwillingness to give directions or the time to strangers or assist disabled or elderly people in need)
• neighborliness (ignoring neighbors' requests for help)
• emergency situations (no response to victims of natural disasters like earthquakes or floods)
