What I would like you to do is pay attention to how Californians speak (yourself included, if you believe you talk like a Californian).
Then, I would like you to give me a list of at least FIVE things you think are characteristic of California speech or language or speech patterns.

Particular ways of pronouncing a given word
Particular grammar/syntax choices
