As we conclude Food Bullying, you are questioned whether you will "be a part of creating a better food story?"
When you know your own health, ethical, environment and social standards, you can can overcome bullying and elevate the food conversation.
Reflect upon's the Students' Choice lecture on Meal Planning, in which 3 steps were provided to create a own meal plan:
• Step 1: Create a menu
• Step 2: Stock Up
• Step 3: Keep a Running Grocery List
With your knowledge gained from Food Bullying, let's further explore Step 1 and create our own meal plan that works for us.
Task I: Review the intro through Step 1 of the Meal Planning lecture, noting the 10 factors to consider when creating a menu. Describe and show what your ideal meal plan would look like.
Task II: Your standards are important.
1. Health Standard. What health priorities influence your food choices?
2. Ethical Standard. What ethical principles influence your food choices?
3. Environmental Standard. What environmental concerns influence your food choices?
4. Social Standard. What social connections influence your food choices?
