Some people think that there is a difference in how different genders negotiate. These perceptions can impact how a negotiation progresses and, of course, the negotiation outcomes.
Think about this, read a few things, and then answer these questions in this discussion thread:
i. A stereotype is a widely accepted bias about a person or group. It is not always accurate. Gender stereotypes can be inaccurate and unfair. What gender stereotypes do you believe some people hold, that could impact a negotiation?
ii. Have you noticed a difference in how different genders negotiate, either in your life or in the class so far? Explain.
iii. In your opinion, does gender have an impact on negotiations? Please explain.
