Problem
The tragic events of September 11, 2001, as well as the disaster following Hurricane Katrina exposed the fact that public health did not have the resources to respond efficiently to a man-made or a natural disaster. Do you feel we have learned anything from these events and are sufficiently prepared to handle the next disaster? What further research or changes do you feel are still necessary, and why?
