Problem
There are two inbred strains of mice, with different allotypes at the kappa and lambda light chain loci, designated as k.1 and l.1 in one strain, and k.2 and l.2 in the other. You have antisera able to discriminate between these four allotypes. What crosses would you do and what experiments would you perform to demonstrate that alleles at the kappa and the lambda loci are inherited in an unlinked manner?
