What enable healthcare providers to become educated

Assignment task:

Paraphrase Evidence in the literature has shown that well-organized programs that enable healthcare providers to become educated and to provide, monitor, and evaluate care are critical to the success of the reduction of CAUTI's (Meddings et al.,2019, Atkins et al.,2020, Menegueti, et al.,2019). Catheter-associated urinary tract infections (CAUTI) are urinary tract infections occurring in an individual whose urinary bladder is catheterized or has been catheterized within the past 48 hours (CDC,2024). CAUTIs are the most common nosocomial infections, and account for 1 million cases per year in the United States (Werneburg,2022). CAUTIs have been associated with increased morbidity, mortality, health care costs, and length of stay in a health care facility (Florida department of health, 2019). In the United States, there are an estimated 449,334 CAUTIs each year. The frequency of CAUTIs varies by region, with rates of 12.9% in the US, 19.6% in Europe, and 24% in developing countries (CDC, 2024). Florida's rate of catheter-associated urinary tract infections (CAUTIs) is 0.516 (Florida department of health, 2019). This puts Florida in the fifth lowest category for CAUTI rates among states. CAUTI mortality rates are 30.15%, and CAUTI combined with central line-associated bloodstream infections and ventilator-associated pneumonia results in a mortality. Looking for Assignment Help?
