Homework I

I would appreciate it if you would make an effort to reply to your classmates and you can also "like" posts you find particularly insightful or interesting. This discussion board is graded but only as a complete/incomplete. You need to complete it in order to receive full credit for the final Annotated Bibliography.

2. What interests you about this topic?

3. What do you already know about this topic?

4. What are you still wondering about this topic?

5. How is this topic relevant either to you or to the current national or global situation that you live in?

6. If your topic seems similar to your Think Piece topic but is really different, explain what makes them different.

Homework II

Reflection Questions on Two Annotated Bibliographies.

Post below with your comments on the two Annotated Bibliographies that you read from the FYC eReader.

1. What kinds of features does the author summarize for their sources? Do the summaries appear complete?

2. Does the author evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of each source? How did they do this?

3. Does the author indicate how the sources contradict or support each other? Is this clear?

4. In what way(s) does the author indicate how the sources might inform their own research topic?

5. Is the citation format consistent for all the sources? Do the sources seem authoritative?

Briefly address each of the above questions for each of the two Annotated Bibliographies that you read. For this homework, you will need to post your own comments before seeing those of others.
