Follow up in an urgent care or emergency room if symptoms recur. How to take the medication. Advised to complete the full course of antibiotics. Consideration will be given to postcoital suppression therapy if she continues to have these infections. Fluid restrict to 1,000mL per day to promote decreased urine production while with active UTI. There is no need for postcoital suppression therapy unless pyelonephritis occurs.
