Discussion Post
This discussion will focus on the "The Human as Desiring Animal" figure presented by James K.A. Smith in the book, Desiring the Kingdom.
The goal of this discussion is to interact with the figure by addressing the following 2 questions:
a) Is Smith accurate in his understanding that "To be human is to love, and it is what we love that defines who we are"?
b) If humans are desiring beings, shaped by the communal practices of others, what does that mean for models of leadership we may develop?
