I am particularly fascinated by sculpture and look forward to a great discussion during Week Four!
Choose a style or sculpture from either the readings in the text, the lectures, or any found in this video from the Khan Academy, and write about it covering these three questions and then your own reflections.
a) What is the cultural context of the work? (Where is it from? What era?)
b) Did you have an emotional reaction to it at first glance? What was it?
c) What does it tell us about the period? Or People?
