1. Brainstorm some of the ways that people are labeled in society. What do they think the strongest labels in society are? What are the consequences of these labels?
2. What if you were an at-risk youth beginning to engage in antisocial behavior? Unlike most at-risk youth, you knew about Sampson and Laub's Age-graded theory. What turning points would you seek out for yourself to get help? Why?
3. What do you think of Symbolic Interactionism? Does the theory make sense? Do you think it accurately describes criminal behavior? Why or why not?
