Discussion Post: Conversation in Negotiations
Difficult conversations are a form of negotiation. Research scholarly articles on negotiating difficult conversations and discuss strategies for listening techniques. Be sure to address the following questions:
a) What do you think is the most effective listening technique? Why?
b) How could you demonstrate listening for feelings? Explain how this helps lead to resolution.
c) What could you do to show you are listening for content? Explain why this is helpful.
