Topic: Negotiation
Each question a minimum of 300 words.
1. What do you owe (if anything) in regard to fairness to other parties with whom you negotiate? Be prepared to explain and justify your conclusion.
2. Now, construct the best counter-argument that you can in opposition to the answer that you just gave; that is, make the best possible case you can for being more (or less) "fair" than you first said. Be prepared to make that argument, as well.
3. Should your standards for fairness depend on the circumstances and the particular person with whom you are dealing? Why or why not?
4. Finally, what should you do if your own standards about fairness differ from those of the organization or person on whose behalf you are negotiating? Are you obliged to lower (or raise) your personal standards in such a case?
