i. Looking at the dramatic structure of a tragedy, pinpoint the scene/event that would represent Hamlet's crisis. Explain your reasonings for your choice.
ii. Trace the development of Hamlet's character over the course of the first 4 acts. Do you believe him to be mad or to be sane? This is the key to your understanding of this play. Give specific examples
of things he says and does to support your view of Hamlet.
iii. What do you believe is Hamlet's tragic flaw? Some suggest that his lack of self-knowledge or his rash judgements bring about his demise. You may choose one of the suggested flaws, or you may choose your own.
iv. What do vou thing is Shakespeare's reason for the inclusion of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern?
