Problem: Corrections
The purpose of this problem is to understand and remember the roadblocks/obstacles offenders face when returning to the community from prison.Read the article "Exoffender Accounts of Successful Reentry from Prison" By Heather Hlavka, Darren Wheelock and Richard Jones (found in the Kean Library) and apply critical thinking when answering the following in narrative form:
• What did the research find relative to the success in preventing recidivism among offenders in this study?
• Did you find the accounts of the offenders credible? Why or why not?
• Describe how reading this article provides growth in your understanding of the re-entry process for those returning from prison.
The response must include a reference list. Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
