Homework
For your second research homework, you are to identify a quantitative research article not a summary or literature review, but a bona fide research study--that is in your field of study and read it. After reading it, you are to provide the following information about it in a summary that is a least 1 page.
Provide a full reference to the article using the APA Style Manual. (This section does not count toward your word limit.)
o What is the purpose of the study?
o What are the independent (X) and dependent variables (Y) the article covers? If there is a long list of either independent variables or dependent variables, summarize them.
o Who was studied, and when?
o What did the author(s) find? Were any of the effects of the independent variable significant? If so, which ones?
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
o The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
o The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
o Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
