Assignment Task:
This morning the children played a board game based on their interests. Each child had a chance to play as the colour of their choosing. The educator encouraged the children to share and swap colours after a few games as there were moments when two children wanted the same colour. The children played unstructured and as many times as they wanted with only one rule which was go for the colour they chose. The educator encouraged the children to race each other and see who could collect all their pieces first as a challenge. On the last round, the children attempted to collect as many pieces as they could, no matter the colour. The educator encouraged the children to count by themselves to see who got the most.
