Assignment task: Multicultural Competence
Problem 1: Describe the key characteristics of a culturally sensitive social worker.
Problem 2: How do you see yourself in relationship to these characteristics?
Problem 3: What circumstances might make it difficult for a social worker to help someone from a particular group?
Problem 4: What could social workers confronted with these circumstances do to prepare themselves to work with diverse groups?
