What could a short-term care facility do to accommodate

Problem: For this week's response, you're an ICP in a hospital when the discharge planning department contacts you. A patient with a history of Candida auris bloodstream infection that has been successfully treated is ready for discharge to a short-term rehabilitation facility. Unfortunately, none of the area facilities will take the patient because of the requirement for continued Contact Precautions. The discharge planner is asking if it's possible to clear the patient from Contact Precautions now that they no longer have an active infection and would like you to provide literature either for or against testing for cure. Can the patient be cleared from precautions? If not, what could a short-term care facility do to accommodate residents with a history of infection with a novel multidrug resistant organism that prevents residents from being on Contact Precautions for the rest of their lives?
