Assignment
You have decided to apply for a senior administrative position, with the bulk of your responsibilities to be in designing and implementing evaluations in educational and instructional contexts. The packet of requested application materials includes your resume (or vita), a letter of introduction with names of three professional references, and a document discussing your evaluation philosophy and the approach you will use. You have all the items prepared, except for the last one. According to a friend who works at this organization, recent ineffectual administration decisions in that office have precipitated a more proactive hiring process. The hiring committee wants to be sure their new hire has a strong sense of their role as an evaluator and how to conduct themselves properly in that role. Here is how the verbiage reads on the job posting:

2. Reflect on and explore the evolution of your own practice of implementing training and workplace learning evaluation. Please be sure to reference the literature that has influenced your thinking.
3. What, in your view, constitutes effective evaluation for training and workplace learning? What is an effective framework or theory to use? How does your perspective prepare you to work in this multi¬dimensional, diverse, and quickly changing workplace?
