Marketplace Live Simulation Written Exercise
The purpose of this exercise is to examine how the concepts that you have learned in this class (as well as in other classes) can be applied to decisions made in the formation of your own hypothetical, PC company!
You must attend all sessions and -as a group- answer the following questions:
1. What concepts from this class did you use in making your decisions? Which concepts do you think were the most important? Why?
2. What concepts from other classes did you use in making your decisions?
3. Which segment(s) did you focus on? Why?
4. In which city or cities did you open your sales office(s)? Why did you choose the city or cities that you did?
5. Do you believe that your salespeople performed adequately? Why, or why not?
6. Looking back at your performance, what are some things you would do differently if you had another chance at this simulation? Why would you do those things differently?
7. What was the most challenging part of this simulation? Why did you think it was challenging?
