In business, we can learn a lot from past mistakes of companies. Blockbuster was a very successful company in the video rental industry that did not adapt to new technology and new competitors.
Example of a brand or company that once was successful - maybe even dominated an industry - but has now declined significantly or gone bankrupt. The samples can be from any category, e.g., retailing, technology products, or fashion brands.
Apart from describing the company and giving some information about the decline, please comment on why you think it happened. For example, what competitor and shift in an environmental factor such as new technology or changing cultural preference, did the company fail to adapt to?
