b) What quotes (including pages) or chapters shows all female characters dedicate their time and energy to the men in their lives, indulging their desires, fulfilling their dreams and aspirations, and bringing fulfillment?
c) What characters in the story (quotes or chapters) shows the social norms prohibit women from pursuing intellectual interests or holding positions of authority?
