Discussion Question 1
As you explored three major categories this week with modernism, post-modernism, and post-colonial literature, what were your favorite author and short story of the readings? Why?
For your initial post, choose one of the readings to discuss. Please refer to the specific elements of the category that you found in the text as well as direct quotes and lines from the reading. You may choose more than one story if you like, but the minimum is to discuss at least one of the short story readings in detail.

Give at least three examples from the reading
Explain how what characteristics were evident in the story that made it modernist, post-modernist, or postcolonial according to your course content lessons folder. Note: You may include magical realism under the post-colonial category.
Discussion question 2
Find one of your favorite photographs. Describe or upload the photo in your initial post. Discuss the emotional response you have when you look at your photo. How do your memories and experiences affect your perception of the image? Would it affect others viewers in the same way? Why is this important to consider when using images to communicate?
*Remember--- Analysis requires that you substantiate your ideas with quotes from academic sources and experts in the field. Analysis without substantiated evidence is opinion. Use your etextbook, another academic article or source, or a career or real-life example to support your analysis points in your initial discussion post to demonstrate your full comprehension of the topics.
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
