How can a different species with similar habitat requirements have a different number of populations in the same region? If so, which model parameters might be different? In other words, if there is a species that occurs in exactly the same locations as Capercaillie, could it occur in a smaller or larger same number of populations in this area? If so, what characteristic of the species might be different? And, what model setting would reflect this difference?
