Problem
Understanding health determinants for a given population is essential in identifying and addressing factors that cause disease. However, it is important to realize that any given population doesn't stay stagnant and it changes over time. According to Riegelman and Kirkwood, "Determinants of health may change over time, and the composition of populations may change in ways that affect health" (Riegelman, R., and Kirkwood, B. 2014). What changes in population can affect health? Provide specific examples to support our statements?
