Describe how organizations can develop cultural competency. How is your organization (past or present) complying with The National Standards for Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services in Health and Health Care (CLAS) as discussed in the Office of Minority Health (OMH) website? What changes could still be made from a leadership standpoint? How does cultural competence improve the quality of services in health care? Refer to the CLAS standards as discussed in your textbook and the OMH website from the hyperlink below and provide specific examples from your organization.
