Problem
Based on the reading: Plant & Devine (1998) "internal and external motivation to respond without prejudice" 811-814, 830
i. What challenges do researchers studying prejudice face?
ii. How does context affect people's self-reports of prejudice? Does this suggest that impression management and/or self-deception influence participants' response to self-report prejudice measures?
iii. What is the difference between internal and external motivation to respond without prejudice? what was the relationship between these two subscales in research?
iv. Do you think the internal and external motivation to respond without prejudice questionnaire would still be useful in prejudice research today why or why not are other prejudice measures needed?
