Problem
Using the textbook and other resources, provide a working definition of an Enterprise Architecture (EA) Framework. Your definition must be robust and demonstrate your comprehension of EA Frameworks by concentrating more on the purpose and the application of Frameworks by providing a real business/IT example. In addition, discuss the concept of Maturity Models in relation to EA by understanding what determines architectural maturity of an Enterprise. In reference to models, frameworks, and architecture, another important aspect to this collection is Service Orientated Architecture or SOA. It is essentially a collection of services that communicate with each other and can involve simple data passing or it could involve a conglomerate of services coordinating some activity; it connects these services (Jensen, IBM).
1. What benefits does SOA offer to EA? What risks are involved and how do you propose to mitigate them? As a continuation on the activities of the enterprise architect... Enterprise Information Architecture (EIA) deals with the design of shared information environments. It takes into account the information itself, and the users of that information.
2. Describe EIA and the relationship to the enterprise architect.
