Assignment
The followers of a Fifteenth Century CE teacher, Guru Nanak came to be known as Sikhs "disciples, students, seekers of the truth." (Fisher, p. 434). Additionally, one legend of the life of Guru Nanak taught that "in order to attain the Lord, one is required to drown - drown in love and devotion and into the depths of meditation. . . The second requirement is to die - die towards the world." (Fisher, p. 435) What benefit would such a religious perspective hold and how does this perspective measure against other traditions studied in this course.
