What aspects of the history of the Cold War would be significant from a Realist point of view (emphasizing the power struggles involved)?
Another way to think of this question is to consider the question, who was to blame for the Cold War? A Realist would say that it was more or less inevitable given the balance of power at the time. A Liberal Internationalist would more likely blame the Soviet Union. A Marxist-Leninist would more likely blame the United States and the West more generally. What evidence would each bring to bear in a "court of law," so to speak; if they had to make their case in front of a jury?
