Problem
As of today (2/13), the U.S. has shot down one Chinese "weather" balloon and 3 UFOs that were flying over the US and Canada (the Canadian one was shot down on request of the Prime Minister of Canada). China says the US has no right to shoot down their balloons and has alleged that the US has flown at least 10 balloons over China (which the US denies). Considering the results of the Chicago Convention and Open Skies policies, what arguments can you put forward to defend China's or the US's positions?
